Tim Maurer, President
Tim Maurer has been both a Licensed minister in the Church of the Nazarene and a Eucharistic minister in the Catholic Church. So he brings multiple perspectives to this cross-denominational ministry. Sensitive to the needs of others, he also served as a board member, World Relief Chicago, a refugee resettlement organization. Tim previously researched and co-chaired a U. S. minority business development symposium in Washington, DC.
Tim has served on the board of TryUS resources, a minority procurement organization, and on several committees of the U. S. Chamber of Commerce. Tim has also presented growth strategies to the White House, National Economic Council and Cabinet. Tim and his wife Roberta established and continue to support a Sudanese refugee orphanage in Zimbabwe.
Professionally, Tim has led corporate marketing organizations and has influenced multiple industry transformations, including an electric utility company's transformation from a regulated utility into a deregulated, competitive electricity marketer. Tim led the transformation of a major insurance company to becoming a direct marketing bank. Tim also led the transformation of a large IT company that processed for banks into becoming a health savings account processor.
Tom Hiller, Chief Operating Officer
Tom Hiller's religious affiliation is Catholic and he attends daily services. He is a certified Lector and Cantor and reads scripture at services on various occasions. Tom is past Parish Council President. Tom actively supports the Catholic Social Services Organization. Tom volunteers his time and talents to serve those most in need by participating in various Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach events that work primarily with homeless men, women and children as well as the working poor - working together to meet the many physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the most disadvantaged.
Tom's professional career spans 40 years in direct marketing, telemarketing and reference services industries, with an extensive background in data acquisition/evaluation and marketing database management.
He is the founder and President of Consultants in Information Management, Inc. (CIM), established in 1997. CIM a consulting services company that assists businesses and organizations in the area of information management and privacy/compliance-related initiatives. Tom is also a recognized leader in the area of privacy and as a member of The Direct Marketing Association's (DMA) Privacy Task Force, was instrumental in establishing the industry's Fair Information Practices Guidelines. Tom also functions as an industry expert witness.
